Looking at Commodore 128 case:
GROUND ——-4 3—– 9VAC
5———- 9VAC
+5VDC —–1 2—– NO CONNECTION
Or in mirror when looking at the plug of the PSU:
9VAC ——-3 4—– GROUND
5———- 9VAC
NO CONNECTION —–2 1—– +5VDC
Checking if your PSU is working:
– measure on pin 1 and 4: DC (in dutch: gelijkstroom) 5V
– measure on pin 3 and 5: AC (in dutch: wisselspanning) 9V

Ik ben een retro computer verzamelaar (van met name Commodore computers), ben eigenaar van TASK4 Studios en ben ook toetsenist in diverse bands.

Like the title says. However I don’t know how to connect the diskdrives.
I bought a very complete TI99 set from a woman whose (late -i think) husband worked for Texas Instruments.
The thing is, that I don’t know how to connect all the peripherals. I know how to connect the tape, tv. But there’s also:
– a RS232 module
– a Memory expansion
– 2 diskdrives
– diskcontroller
The interesting thing is the 2 diskdrives + controller, see attachment:
I connected the diskdrives with a flatcable to the controller. The controller has a (wooden) connector that should connect to the right port on the TI, but there are two catches:
1. the connector doesn’t fit easy, so I guess I have to put either the memory expansion or the RS232 device between de disk controller and the computer
2. how does the floppydrive get its power? Should I connect a psu to the wooden connector?
It’s puzzling. 
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Afgelopen woensdag (10 augustus 2011) zijn we naar een workshop / Seminar geweest van Scott Kelby.
Het was echt een leuke training, waarin handige tips en tricks werden getoond van studio tot en met het bewerken in Photoshop. Veel zaken waren op zich bekend, maar vaak wist Scott net even nieuwe dingen te vertellen die ik niet wist. Het was ook fijn om te weten dat we zelf al een hele tijd goed bezig zijn, doet ook wel goed.

Ik vond nog onze reisblog die we hadden bijgehouden toen we op vakantie waren vorig jaar in Tokyo (ook wel vaak zo geschreven: Tokio). Erg leuk om weer eens terug te zien. Mocht je zelf nog op vakantie gaan in Tokyo, dan zou ik zeggen laat je misschien inspireren door de dingen die wij hebben gedaan op vakantie vorig jaar.
